James Wanamaker DDS

Dr. James Wanamaker was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. He began his education at Christian Brothers Academy then continued on to Le Moyne College. He graduated cum laude from Le Moyne College in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Business Management. Dr. Wanamaker then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2016 with a concentration in pediatric dentistry. Prior to and during dental school, Dr. Wanamaker owned and operated Wanna Jam DJ Productions, an event production company.

While at Buffalo, he served as the Chair of the Council on Advocacy for the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Wanamaker was awarded the Dean’s Award in 2016 for his “critical thinking and devotion to the advancement of the dental profession.” Dr. Wanamaker completed a post doctoral General Practice Residency at SUNY Upstate Hospital and the Syracuse VA Hospital. Dr. Wanamaker is also a writer for IgniteDDS.com. Dr. Wanamaker practices as an associate dentist at Smiles of Skaneateles in Skaneateles, NY.

Dr. Wanamaker resides in Syracuse, NY with his wife, Francesca. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and the martial arts.
